Nice to see the colleagues!

On Oct 18 Estonian Changemakers for the Off the Beaten Track project gathered at a Zoom meeting to get acquainted with each other and know more about the project. Active women entrepreneurs from the tourism and creative sectors were pleased to meet each other.

Although Estonia is a small country and entrepreneurs in one sector meet quite often, meeting entrepreneurs in another is not so obvious. A couple of our Changemakers are still active in both fields.

Firstly, the Changemakers introduced themselves and talked about their everyday life and challenges. There are problems caused by COVID, energy prices, anxiety in society, etc. But these women are very creative to face the challenges and their businesses are doing well.

Secondly, we introduced the Off the Beaten Track project, the goals, methodology and the Changemaker’s role in it.

Participants confirmed that the problems raised in the project application are real, especially in rural areas, which confirmed that our project is very welcome.

We presented the program and the methodology.  A lively discussion followed, during which we received approval from the focus group to use the program we had developed.

The Changemakers were happy to invite the target group from their networks to take part in the project’s activities and disseminate the news.

The participants were excited to be part of the project and they are looking forward to getting new contacts and inspiration to carry on their work and maybe even inspire others.
